The political organisers of Qaran Party have been released from Mandheera prison after serving four months and nineteen days of a four year sentence
imposed on them by the Hargeisa Regional Court for attempting to circumvent the constitution of the Republic of Somaliland by inaugurating a fourth political party prohibited under the constitution.
The former prisoners, including Dr.Mohamed Abdi Gabose, Eng.Mohamed Hashi Elmi and Mr.Jamal Aided Warsame are already back in Hargeisa and re-united with their
families. Their release came after a Presidential pardon was issued to coincide with Eidul-Adha festivities to mark the end of the Hajj.
