The President of Somaliland arrives in the U.S.

Washington, (QARAN) -The Somaliland delegation led by President Dahir Rayale Kahin arrived last night at 7pm in Washington DC.
The President and his delegation arrived Dulles International Airport which is located around 26 kilometres west of Washington DC.
The delegation was met on its arrival by members of the State Department protocol office and security officials. After leaving the VIP area, the delegation were take to their transport which consisted of several limousines flanked by escorts.
A reporter from Harowo who was present at the arrival of the President's delegation stated managed to take several pictures at the airport in spite of the tight security. The delegation are currently staying at a major hotel complex in the centre of Washington.
President Rayale and his delegation which include, Marwo Huda Barkhad, the Somaliland ministers for Foreign Affairs, Health and Justice, Mudane Mohammed Abdillahi Duale, Abdi Haibe Mohamed and Ahmed Hassan Ali, along with the deputy minister for Planning, Mudane Ahmed Hashi and the President's private secretary, Mudane Ahmed Mohammed Isse.
The President's arrival in Washington DC has began an influx of Somalilanders accross North America in order to meet the delegation at a large gathering scheduled for Tuesday, January 15th, 2008.
